Traveling During the Holidays

What a beautiful time of the year. The Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa holidays.  Whatever you do or not do.

But, sometimes just getting together is a hardship, no mater how hard it is to do.

For years, my husband and I stayed home, even though, we are in the travel business, but not anymore. With the kids doing their own thing now, and many of them in different parts of the country, we decided why stay home. There are no diapers to change or dog to take care of. Let’s go somewhere.

This year we will be on the new MSC Seascape, brand new ship, that sailing from Europe to NY for her “Naming Ceremony” back on December 4th, 2022 and now in the Miami, FL, where we will be sailing December 18-26, 2022 to the Eastern Caribbean.  The ship will be decorated and so will the islands.  Destinations are Nassau, San Juan (where we will see my husband’s family), St. Thomas and St. Maarten, Miami

So excited, to dress up and meet new people and try new foods. We have also done New Year’s in the past. For many years, we sat by the tv, and watch the ball drop, or just fell asleep. Like others, we don’t want to go driving on the road with the crazies after they drink.

This way, we can stay up all night, toast with free champagne, eat amazing food, meet and hug strangers from all over the world, and so much more. Whether or not you want to get dress up to the 9’s or eat pizza or hamburgers the world is your oyster.

Let Echevarria Travel help you plan you next holiday getaway, don’t wait to long, it is wave season from December 1, 2022-April 1, 2023, but remember, this past year we had the best season for Black Friday and many of the ships and resorts are sold out, you need to be flexible, do a deposit and make payments. We can handle it all for you.
